Terra Cotta Portland - Architectural Heritage Center
Portland’s architectural riches include a grand collection of more than 40 buildings clad in glazed terra cotta. They range from the 1907 Wells Fargo Building at SW Sixth & Oak (Portland’s first “skyscraper” and first terra cotta building) to the last – the Charles F. Berg Building at SW Broadway near Morrison.

Many of these buildings stand throughout the retail heart of downtown Portland, from Oak to Yamhill Streets, and SW Fourth to SW Tenth Avenues, a virtual “terra cotta district” deserving of expert maintenance and preservation.

The Portland Japanese Garden presents: Behind the Shoji - Japanese Garden

Annual Dahlia Festival - Swan Island Dahlias
A must see for the dahlia lover, or if you just love flowers. View over 400 floral arrangements of dahlias in our two indoor display rooms. These displays vary in size from teacup to floor to ceiling extravaganzas!! This is the largest display put on by one grower anywhere in the United States! Portland Corn MAiZE - The Corn MAiZE
The MAiZE "Twists and Turns" into Ten Years in Bridgetown.

What began back in 1999 as a great and "weird" Portland idea has grown into a Portland tradition. The MAiZE, a giant puzzle carved into a towering cornfield, has become a classic fall event for tens of thousands of visitors craving adventure and laughter and to connect with life on a family farm.
Portlander Craig Easterly, creator of the annual giant-sized maze at The Pumpkin Patch, created a design this year that celebrates Portland and its beautiful cityscape and surroundings. The "Bridgetown MAiZE" at The Pumpkin Patch features the city's bridges, rivers, mountains and outdoor spirit. Easterly promises that crossing the newly built Sauvie Island Bridge, and finding The Pumpkin Patch, is the easy part. Finding your way out of the 5-acre labyrinth will be both a physical and mental challenge for kids of all ages to enjoy.

Portland Saturday Market - Portland Saturday Market
Portland Saturday Market is the largest arts and crafts market in continuous operation in the United States. It is held every Saturday and Sunday from March through Christmas Eve at SW Ankeny + Naito Parkway. The Market has over 350 vendors. All items sold at the Saturday Market are required to be handmade by the person selling it, and a product review committee of members juries each new item against a high standard of quality.

Moonviewing 2008 - Japanese Garden

The Portland Juggling Festival 2008 is on its way! Join us for a weekend of juggling, unicycling, and prop manipulation in the beautiful Rose City.

The Portland Juggling Festival is the largest regional juggling festival in the United States, with jugglers from around the world and down the street joining together to share their knowledge and show their skills. We have performers, hobby jugglers, and beginners joining together for a two and a half days of throwing.

Tryon Creek Presents; 2008 Natural Cycles Preview Tour and Opening Dinner with the Artists - Friends of Tryon Creek State Park
Join us for an evening of live music, dancing, good company and fresh local foods.

On September 27th, Northwest artists will unveil five temporary forest art installations on the Trillium Trail at Tryon Creek State Park. In its fourth year, Natural Cycles: A Celebration of Art in the Forest aims to generate an awareness of how nature and art are intertwined. The five temporary artworks will be on display for a year during regular park hours. Natural Cycles is a collaborative project between Friends of Tryon Creek State Park, the Regional Arts and Culture Council (RACC) and Oregon State Parks.
